Fellow friends and colleagues in the video game industry,

Time is moving fast and the first quarter of 2011 is already over! Therefore we start the call for papers for our next IGDA Chapter meeting in Munich now. Please submit your proposal for a talk or a panel with your topic and a short description to igda@r-control.de until April 29th.

Also, please feel free to let us know which topics you want to hear about, or if you know someone who wants to hold a lecture and has not been to visit us, yet!

Additionally, since our meeting at Reality Twist in August 2010 was such a success, please let us know, if you would like to host a meeting at some point in the future.

Hello friends and colleagues of the gaming branch,

The sudden arrival of mild weather has reminded us of the time it was somewhat colder. More specifically, the IGDA Christmas Party. Big thanks to Thomas Bedenk and Yacine Salmi for their super presentations.

Thus, in accordance with the ‘better late than never’ philosophy, here are some photos from our merry winter gathering….

Fellow friends and colleagues in the video game industry,

The end of the year is approaching fast and it is getting cold outside. We thought this might be the perfect time to get together at a warm and comfortable place for a new IGDA Munich chapter meeting.

    Date: Thu, 02 December 2010
Place: Former Chimera Entertainment Office, Augsburger Str. 8, 80337 Munich (Map)
    Time: 19:30

The objective of IGDA events is to get to know each other, to get informed together, to exchange opinions and to socialise while last but not least having fun doing so.

The topic of this chapter meeting is “XBLA and PSN development” and these are the speakers:

Thomas Bedenk (Brightside Games): “Xbox Live Arcade development
Yacine Salmi (Piece of Pie Studios): “PlayStation Network development

We are taking care of drinks and food and we are looking forward to your numerous appearances and would like to ask you, to please let us know if you’re coming by.
